Annet's Reawakening Arc is a story arc in Romantically Apocalyptic. It began at Issue 122, after the Ancestors Story Arc. Annet's Reawakening begins with Sniper questioning The Captain about the aftermath of the previous arc, dealing with Sniper's lost items, and with The Captain's mask and facial equipment inside the Sniper's backpack.
Annet's Reawakening Story ProgressEdit
After the Sniper's trips into the past and future, he reawakened with the Captain near-by, and began to ask questions, none of which received any useful answers. The majority of this arc has been focused on Engineer's survival of the post-apocalyptic world as he attempted to traverse an abandoned building that had been trapped extensively (by either The Captain himself, or Pilot). After several traps, ending with the Engineer's vision blurred and his head covered by a simple plastic bucket with a "Captania" tag on the front, he was found wandering the building by the Sniper. The two proceed to get to the Captain.
Pilot's Reprogramming Side-Story ProgressEdit
Pilot is shown again in this story arc, having been captured by Annet and been reprogrammed, rounding up Annet's Zombie Minions and proceeded to begin his hunt for "the UNSCANNABLE one." Small fragments of the Pilot's past has been displayed, showing the dilapidated city he now walks down to be a former futuristic-utopia styled city, complete with electronic cars, and extremely high skyscrapers.
Meanwhile, as a result of getting harassed by spam-bots (Neural Interface zombification), Engie sets fire to the building to hide his heat signature. After being told about the spam-bots, Snippy reveals that he is immune to the Neural Broadcasting System. Engie runs out of the building, and it is revealed that he created Annet to ask her to find the luckiest person in the world,
Meanwhile, the awakened Pilot pursues an unknowing Snippy, who is attempting to salvage some of the supplies. The Biomatrix initiates "mitochondrial acceleration" and "adrenaline insertion", and promptly goes into deep sleep mode as it is too afraid to face the AI planetary defense network once again. Snippy uses the trowel to defend himself. He eventually damages Pilot's neural interface, returning Pilot to his usual bumbling self.
